Advantages: Trippy, leftfield sounds

Disadvantages: A little quirky and doesn't totally flow

Orbital are one of the bands who gave the 90's rave circuit it's character.
Their take on what would now probably be classed as minimal trancy techno, has produced some of the great festival moments and tracks.
They even got tagged in with the rest when Electronica was a buzzword.
In Sides is responsible for a good few of those moments.

It's not a thumping album, it just has a flow and a vibe, which takes the listener on a bit of a trip!
The most known track is The Box, whose slow build with piano hook and increasing momentum, is a good example of Orbital's overall style. It is the tune I heard from In Sides first, and if you like that, you'll love the album.

A few years on, and In Sides is perhaps a little quirky, and Middle of Nowhere is a smoother ride, but this is still classic.
