Advantages: its a great album, you will like at least one song
Disadvantages: some people may not like all the songs
Blazin Squad are a 10 man garage/pop crew who had a number 1 hit with the song "Crossroads" last year. From only just leaving school the boys have enjoyed phenomenal success!!! There debut album "In The Beginning" is a mixture of slow and up-tempo tracks. Let me tell u all about it.... TRACK 1: I Understand At the beginning of this song the lads names are introduced one-by-one. This song is basically about a girl who is in trouble and they are telling her they understand and can help her out. The song is quite slow. If you enjoy love songs you will enjoy this. TRACK 2: Love On The Line This was Blazin Squads second single. Though it didnt top the charts it still entered the top 10. The song is about how couples who are far away can keep in touch. This song is more for people who like pop-style songs. TRACK 3: Crossroads This song stormed the charts in the summer of last year. It is probably the best known song on the album. The song is a cover of the 'Bone Thugs n Harmony' classic 'tha crossroads'. Crossroads is a great tune which i am sure you would all enjoy. TRACK 4: All About The Music This song tells how Blazin Squad are all about the music. In this song they talk about how other bands want to fight but for them its not about fighting its about the music. A great song with cool mcing. TRACK 5: The Love Song This song is obviously all about love but the lads havent done it in the genuine soppy love ballad way. Instead this is an up-tempo tune with a wicked chorus. This song is guaranteed to cheer you up. TRACK 6: I Belong To You This song is about a girl who has left her boyfriend for another man and the man is tellin her that she belongs with him. Blazin Squads vocals are tested in this song and they come out on top. TRACK 7: Standard Flow Blazin Squad released this song on the underground and it went straight to number 3.
The song is a really fast tempo song with some good mcing. If you like garage tunes then maybe this is the song you would most enjoy listening to. TRACK 8: Reminisce This is the latest song to be released by Blazin Squad. It double a-sides with 'Where The Story Ends'. Reminisce is a funky tune about summer love. I would recommend this song to anyone. TRACK 9: Supastar This song is all about a boy telling a girl that she is his supastar. The song is one of the weaker songs on the album but it is still good. It is a very pop-py tune!!! TRACK 10: Riders In this song the blazin boys talk about being superheroes and all of the things they would do. Blazin Squad mc at their best in this song. It is one of the best songs on the album. TRACK 11: Where The Story Ends This song is about teenage troubles and the modern teenage society. It is beautifully written and is a really good tune. It double a-sided with 'Reminisce'. HIDDEN TRACK: After 'Where The Story Ends' there is a hidden track called 'Play The Game'. This song is cool and up-tempo. There is no genuine theme to this song. This song is REALLY good and i think it is a shame that it is a hidden track instead of a proper track. CONCLUSION ........... Most people have branded Blazin Squad as a no-hope group full of spotty kids. If you are one of these people i think you should listen to their album. It will make you underrstand that these boys are talented and are going to go far. Despite being gifted at mcing the boys can also sing really well. If you read the cover oif the album you will notice that the boys wrote most of the songs themselves. Rubbish?? I THINK NOT Before you decide your view on Blazin Squad PLEASE listen to their album.
