I would have expected it to show an enormous picture of one ... more ... of the characters on the front to grab the attention of toddlers walking by but instead, it features a navy blue sea scene, much like at the start of the programme, with a small and slightly under-stated picture of some of the main characters, Upsy Daisy, Iggle Piggle and Makka Pakka. It is quite a classy looking cover and isn't too bright and garish on your shelf either.

A Soothing Musical Journey This In The Night Garden business seems to have taken over my house somewhat. We have books, cuddly toys, puzzles, DVDs, sticker books and a new addition to our worryingly ever-growing collection, the In The Night Garden music CD. Harry is just in love with this bloomin' show, and especially its song which his Daddy and I have to sing on repeat when we put him to bed, so I thought investing in the CD might be a good idea! As you probably know by now, In The Night Garden is the latest children's TV show to take the UK's toddler by storm, and is the obsession of 1-4 year olds across the country.
