Britney Spears is undoubetly a massive star in pop music and have released a number of chart hits and fantasticly unique tracks in the past this understandable. Britney Spears shows a very mature and more 'R' and 'B' but more hip hop musical route in this album, ''In The Zone''. Collaborating with a number of artists for soul and hip hop tracks, this makes this a great album.

''Me Against The Music'' is a nice rock and hip hop pop track. Britney Spears here duets with Madonna. This was the first single released at the back of this album, and was a chart hit, understandably. This is an extremely nice and fast, upbeat rock and hip hop track. This seems very well written, This is good.

''Breathe On Me'' is quite a slow soulful and pop track. Quite balladish in some terms as well. This is very unique sounding, with a very slow beat, with a loud drum banging over it. Britney's vocals are gentle but warming to the track.

''Showdown'' is a very 'R' and 'B' track, this has some rapping it. This is a nice hip hop track. Nicely written - it is good listening.

''I Got That Boom Boom'' is very 'R' and 'B' and very hip hop. This is very loud, extemely upbeat and very fast. Vocals by Britney are very verstaile, nicely track - Good track.

''Early Morning'' is a very good track. It is instantly catchy, and quite soulful and jazzy in some terms. Well written, nice vocals and well produced - Excellent.

''Toxic'' is an amazing pop track. Written by Cathy Dennis, an excellent writer - this is great. This was released as a single off this album, and was a massive hit worldwide. This is very fast and quite a nice pop track. This is quite outstanding, in many terms.

''Outrageous'' is a very 'R' and 'B' hip hop track. It has a very instantly catchy and poppy chorus, followed with nice and slow but gentle verses. Good listening and very catchy.

''Touch Of My Hand'' is a nice and soulful pop track with abit of hip hop and 'R' and 'B' mixed in with it. Quite catchy, nice chorus and well produced.

''The Hook Up'' is a nice pop track but again very 'R' and 'B' as well. Quite catchy, good listening.

''Shadow'' is a very nice track and quite balladish in some terms. This is very poppy and soulful at the same time. Quite good in vocals and well produced and instantly catchy.

''Brave New Girl'' is a very fast, well produced 'R' and 'B' track. This is quite good, with gentle and catchy vocals - very well produced.

''Everytime'' is an oustanding track. This was released as a single on the back of the album. This is a very amazing soulful and poppy track. The song is excellently produced, outstandbly written. This is a very nice and meaningful track. Gently played with a piano, this is incrediable. The video for this song was instantly noticeable, and obviously had a message behind it. The song is very meaningful, the piano playing behind Britney's vocals is very gentle and matches the mood of the song perfectly. Excellently produced, well written, well sang - this is an outstanding piece of music.

''Don't Hang Up'' is a very nice 'R' and 'B' track. Quite good in all terms. Very well produced, quite catchy as well.

''The Answer'' is a hip hop track. This seems quite catchy, on some levels. The chorus is very fast. Nicely produced as well.

This is a very nice album from Britney Spears. The tracks range from nice ballads, to good pop songs, to excellent 'R' and 'B' tracks and fantastically catchy hip hop songs. The album seems to be well written, with music defintley noted in the source of writing. The songs are quite varied, and this does feature a fine selection of songs. Their is a number of outstanding tracks on this. The vocals on this album are in general quite gentle and suiting to the mood of the songs concerned. Production, is very good on this album as a number of effects are used. It is apparent this album is very mature and is filled with a nice selection of songs.
