Advantages: Stevie's Best Album

Disadvantages: Couple Of Weaker Tracks, Notably Visions

I have never been a huge fan of motown, but when my father pointed me in the direction of this album, who was i to say no. Now that i have developed a greater musical knwoledge, experiecne has told me that this is Wonder's defining moment and the best album that he made, and here's where i tell you why.

1. Too High - A song tha does sound as if it is about drugs, but then who am i to decide, but regardless of that this is a great track, with some very nice drumming that seems to dominate the instrumentals ide of thus song.

2. Visions - This is the only track on the album that i don't really like, as it just seems to lyrically not right, although i will admit that it does make a different style of track on the album, but it is still not my favourite.

3. Living For The City - A very nice story track that includes a brief talk over part, which has some nice instrumentation that is not too over the top, but is still just the right amount for the vocals and this style of track.

4. Golden Lady - I like this track, although it may be a bit lyrically fluffy, the instrumentation is again good and this is an upbeat song taht seems to be a bit sexual.

5. Higher Ground - Another nice track with some great guitar that sets off this track and the vocals. Even though the lyrics are not the most creative, this is a good track that makes for nice listening to nod your head to, or tap your foot, whichever way you roll.

6. Jesus Children - Although the title may be a bit off putting for the more secular side of the audience, this is a nice laid-bakc track that is not that religiously in your face as you may think, and could easily be seen as a song about any old thing.

7. All In Love Is Fair - This for me is not the best track on the album, as i always preferred his rock orientated stuff, but still a nice track that is more laid-back and morose than some of the others to provide a slight interlude.

8. Don't You Worry 'Bout A Thing - I love this track, a great simple tune that is upbeat and nice lyrically, with a good spoken opening, that sets this up nicely and helps to close the album along wity the final track.

9. He's Misstra Know It All - Another great track that my father recommended highest, which closes the album well, with some nice vocal, piano and drums.

All in all, a good album, even if you're not the motown type of person, and if you're looking for the best that Stevie has to offer, then look no further than this.

Summary: Great Album That I would Hope That Most Could Enjoy Given The Oppurtunity And Right Attitude
