Advantages: their superhits!
Disadvantages: none
International superhits was a greatest hits album released by green day in 2001. It basically contained their best song from the albums they had released up until the year 2001, which were 39/Smooth, Kerplunk, Dookie, Insomniac, Nimrod and Warning. Although only being released in 2001 it did not of course contain any songs from American idiot or their new album so its not entirely up to date and so perhaps another greatest hits album from the band could be there in the future.
In total there are 21 songs on this album which is great to see, and I would say that all of them are pretty much top class songs as well. Looking at the track list, I cant really see anything they have left out, they seemed to have gotten all of the big ones in there which is good.
Now I was a green day fan before this album and I did already have the album so there probably wasn't any need for this album but as I download a lot of music I still got this album any way, howeve I would say that any big green day fan would most likely have all of the albums and then there is really no point to get this.
If your not a green day fan though and in particular if you have only come across them recently then this is just a fantastic album to get, it has all of their best songs on it and will give you hours of great listening. Check out the songs, pop rocks and coke, welcome to paradise, she, good riddance, warning, minority and of course basket case, heck basically just listen to the whole album as there all great.

- 02/06/09 A good review, sorry for the lower rate, but the lack of capital letters on names, and some grammatical errors make this harder for me to read! |
