INXS were formed as The Farriss Brothers in 1977 in Sydney. In their prime they had the late great Michael Hutchence on vocals, Tim Farriss on lead guitar, Kirk Pengilly on guitar/saxophone, Garry Gary Beers on bass, Jon Farriss on drums and Andrew Farriss on keyboards. They have sold more than 30 million records. The Greatest Hits is a almost perfect collection of songs from easily the greatest band to come out of Australia. Mystify gets things off to a fine start with its catchy chorus of "Mystify. Mystify me" and that's followed by the mighty Suicide Blonde, one of the band's finest moments. A collection of some of the greatest tracks INXS ever produced, before Michael Hutchence's recent, pointless death, this album is full to the brim with some of the most addictive and well-remembered pop hits from the 80's to mid 90's. Every track here is significant, and this album has so many great songs and obvious hits crammed in, it's quite an achievement. Opening with the sexy and timeless "Mystify" a huge hit for the band, this is a addictive and thumping number, with a great hook and a immensely addictive chorus. A great start to the proceedings. Next in line is "Suicide Blonde", another monster hit ... Read the complete review

INXS were my first love in music, they made so much quality music over 20 or so years that its easy to overlook. Micheal Hutchence the frontman no longer with us is a rock legend and his band INXS have become very influential. They were much loved throughout the world and filled stadiums wherever they travelled. You could possibly have 3 or 4 greatest hits album from this artist there so good but theres just the one this one released in 1994 before Micheals untimely death. Track 1 is 'Mystify' taken from 'Kick' probably their most successful and most remembered album. Not their biggest hit but all the same a typical INXS ... Read the complete review
