Complex. Dark. Brooding. Compelling. Four adjectives later and I feel like I've only just begun to scrap the surface of this intriguing record. It is the album's diversity which I found the most fascinating. It sees Polly moving away from the old guitar based format and experimenting with new sounds: some of the songs sound like they wouldn't be totally out of place on a Massive Attack or Moby album.
