Advantages: The diversity of each track
Disadvantages: None, maybe a bit biased by me
For me, The Strokes are the best band ever, so if you are looking for a negative review, this is not the place to come.
The Strokes are a Alternative Indie Rock band, and I feel that they are the only true great band band in this Genre.
Ok now onto the album itself, it was release in 2001 as the debut album for the band, and wow, what a debut it was!
The whole album, just sounds right to the upright brilliance of "Last Night", to the slow hard hitting songs such as "Modern Age", and "Someday"
It is universally acclaimed as one of the best albums ever, as it reached number 11 in the greatest album ever by MTV, and in July 2006, the album was ranked 48 by The Observer's list of 'The 50 Albums That Changed Music.'
It has been said that it has earned 90% in average of every review over the internet.
All song are written by the lead singer Julien Casablancas, which I feel, that everyone of them is written absolutely brilliantly.
This is possibly one the greastest albums ever, if not, the best!
This one reviewer will give this a 100%, thats how much I would encourage a purchase.
Summary: Absolutely jaw dropping goodness, if you liked rock music of any description you should purchase.
