      Very helpful

Vishal Bhardwaj and Gulzar means great quality

Vishal Bhardwaj is one music director who does minimum work but his work is always highly acclaimed.Gulzar,as a lyricist is legendary and has formed a formidable pair with Vishal in the last decade or so.
Rahat Fateh Ali Khan gets to sing the most catchy song of the year so far with 'Dil Toh Baccha Hai Jee'.Kudos to Vishal Bhardwaj to come up with such a composition-the composition is classy, unique and instantly catchy! Only Gulzar could have come up with such imaginative lyrics which carry a lot of charm and humor rolled into one. This one will surely bring a wide smile on your face.Put it on repeat mode!
Sukhwinder Singh and Mika Singh join up for the caper comedy track called 'Ibn-e-Batuta' which is another innovative track. The lyrics are again fresh and the composition is a lot of fun and unconventional. Vishal's recent knack for scoring such track is evident after 'Raat ke Dhai Baje' from Kaminey. This track might not be remember for years to come, but it is fun!
Vishal's wife Rekha Bhardwaj sings 'Ab Mujhe Koi'- a calm and soothing number that is extremely pleasant to the ears.Gulzar is brilliant once again with his lyrics and Vishal comes up with a very classy composition.Rekha Bhardwaj sounds less husky than usual and one wonders why such a fine singer is heard so less.A mesmerizing number.
Rekha Bhardwaj is also entrusted with 'Badi Dheere Jali' which has its root planted in Indian classical music.Rekha is again in complete control but sounds much huskier than the previous song.Gulzar's lyrics remind you of Lakaad from Omkara, which he also wrote for Vishal a few years ago. This track grows on you and carries a lot of depth.A poignant listen this one.
The album has remixed versions for both 'Ibn-e-Batuta' and 'Dil Toh Baccha Hai Jee'.
Ishqiya's OST only has four tracks but is quite heavy quality wise.It seems like Gulzar reserves his best work for Vishal, and Vishal does know how to complement the brilliant lyrics with his original compositions.Buy it!
