Incipit Satan - Gorgoroth
Something different. Infernus should stick to his day job.

Under The Sign Of Hell - Gorgoroth
Hellish and still experimental. Focus on overt aggression begins in earnest.

Collateral Defect - Graveworm
Range of styles for the modern mainstream metal fan. None are executed particularly well.

Legacy Of Kings - HammerFall
More of the same, if you enjoyed it. More of the same, if you didn't.

Morphosis - Hate
Interesting mix of melody and heaviness without going down the usual route. Feels stifled.

Fury & Flames - Hate Eternal
Break neck head slamming speed Repetitiveness, too intense at times, needs more variety

I Monarch: Limited Edition - Hate Eternal
Impressive performances. Repetitive and tedious.

Apocalyptic Raids - Hellhammer
Good atmosphere, interesting to hear where it all started. Songs are dull and overly repetitive.

Opus Magnum - Hollenthon
Consistent and excellent use of symphony with heavy metal. Less ambitious than earlier albums.

Penetralia - Hypocrisy
Original, old-school death metal. Mostly sounds similar to other death metal of the time.
