Don't be put off by the poor pun of the title (pulp-it), this is a very good album, especially when considering the inexperience of the performers, and the low budget for the recording. The group here has very little to do with the Pulp of today with Jarvis Cocker being the only current member of the group. This is reflected in the sound; although Pulp have always had elements of Folk in their music, this is an entirely Folk-based affair, with none of the disco and electronica of later albums. Less pop oriented, varied songs, interesting music and lyrics. good production. Some will find it a bit too emo. Only a few brilliant songs

Diverse, unique and interesting, full of potential for greater...err, greatness, OK, I'll admit it, I fancy Roddy! underappreciatedcos the songs are so short one or two extra wouldn't have gone amiss!
