This release from the Elvis Presley specialist label FTD showcases a live performance at the Las Vegas Hilton from 24 August 1974. There are 25 tracks on this CD, most of which show Elvis really enjoying himself. My favourite song from the album is SOFTLY AS I LEAVE YOU which Elvis recites whilst one of his backing singers, Sherill Nielsen, actually sings the song. I enjoy this song as it is so different to most of the other songs Elvis recorded. Other songs featured include SPANISH EYES and YOU GAVE ME A MOUNTAIN, which is another great performance - Elvis really puts his all into this song. As with most other FTD CDs these recordings ...
