Advantages: A great variety of songs for those new to the power of Lily

Disadvantages: A bit too much swearing

Lily Allen is a pop singer and songwriter from good old Blighty (England). Her Debut album rocketed her into the hearts of millions with songs such as "Smile", "LDN" and "Alfie" (a song penned about her own brother). She has her own little style which others have tried to follow but have fallen in her wake.

This is her second album released on Audio CD on the 9th Feb 2009 by the label Parlophone. To search for it online or even ask for it in shops you can use the following ASIN#: B001JFP7GW.

Please be aware that this album does contain explicit lyrics so may not be appropriate for younger children and even some teenagers. I'm not a parent but if I was I would be very concerned about my child listening to a few of the songs on here.

This album reached the top spot in the UK charts and deserves it's place there for it's catchy songs, honesty and the purity of Lily's voice and deadpan delivery.

Lily Allen has certainly grown up since her debut album and has produced an undoubtable honest selection of songs. In my opinion at least half a dozen of these tracks are number 1 worthy. Her quirky sense of fun has breathed life into the music charts and this album does not fail in it's duty to please. From the declaration of love and pride in the track 'He wasn't there' to the normality portayed in 'Chinese' I think we can all relate to these musical stories.

Coming from someone who has never really liked this genre of music I think I can honestly say it's a cracking piece of work and it would pass a long journey on repeat in no time quite easily. Lily Allen should be proud of herself for achieving such a delicious bunch of hits!

Summary: Fantastic stuff.
