The economy has gone to hell in a hand basket and now the proletariat has to eek out a baleful existence hand to mouth in the gutter eating spiders and cat droppings. When this record was released skyscrapers were being transformed into tombstones in a fiery furnace. i dont know as much as i should about sparklehorse. I do however know what i like, and i like this. its a little gem of an album, full of absolutely beautiful tracks, and beaultiful is the word. what makes it elegant is that singer mark linkous is joined by the fabulous Nina Persson of the Cardigans, who in my opinion has one of the sexiest, beautiful (there that word again) voices there is (check out Gran Turismo). In order to write this review i have put on 'its a wonderful life', and a strange sensation has overcome me. it feels...wrong. At first i couldnt put my finger on it. but then it hit me. Ive never listened to this album when its been ... Read the complete review
