Introduction I am a big fan of groups like Boyz II Men, Dru Hill and.. Jagged Edge. Jagged Edge are made up of twins Brandon and Brian Casey and Richard Wingo and Kyle Norman. I first heard of this group when I was searching on the internet a few years ago to find similar artists to Boyz II Men and Dru Hill and after downloading a couple of Jagged Edge tracks I really liked what I heard. Jagged Little Thrill This album comes from 2001 and was their third album after 1998's A Jagged Era and JE Heartbreak from 2000. This album contains a mix of their smooth ballads and their Jagged hip hop cuts as their name suggests. There are three ... Read the complete review

'Jagged Little Thrill' is Jagged Edge's third album, one of the ones I've got as I was pretty enthusiastic about this US RnB group after listening to 'Jagged Era' and 'J.E.Heartbreak'.. The most popular track off this album is 'Where the Party At' which was a collaboration with Nelly and was a great party and club hit over here in 2001. Most of the tracks on this album are slow tracks with a smooth RnB and soul feel to them. Some of my favourite tracks are 'Goodbye' which was also one of the singles off this album and 'Remedy' which is one of those with really interesting lyrics. The ones I like most are 'Girl It's Over' and ... Read the complete review

"Jagged Little Thrill" came out in 2001 as the third album from Jagged Edge, the Atlanta R&B quartet who made a big impact with some ballad tunes through the late nineties before moving things on as Jermaine Dupri (their producer) stepped up as a rapper himself and moved things towards the hype R&B and Hip Hop sounds, and so moved this act onto this too. 1. "The Saga Continues" (Intro) 2. "Where The Party At" To get things going here we have a banger of a track from them as you see that they drop what many would consider to be their breakthrough single. It has the then-fresh southern rapper Nelly ... Read the complete review

jagged edge are a very underrated group in the Uk, maybe because they havent really released many singles out here, but none the less they are up there with the likes of boys II men. ever since boys 2 men, there hasnt been any RnB bands since.. to really make you wanna listen to their music, one thing about jagged edge that makes them shine out, like a pretty penny, is their amazing vocal ability, truely a breath of fresh air. Jagged Edge consists of Members Brian, Brandon, Wingo and Kyle. You may suprised but they have been in this music game for awhile, since 1997!, yep it takes awhile to get recognised in this music game, and it might be true that ... Read the complete review

Enter Suicidal Angels - Dark Tranquillity
Death Metal - 1996
Enthrone Darkness Triumphant - Dimmu Borgir
fast, melodic, varied
lost is the old sound, the mid tempo melancholy
Evilized - Dream Evil
Very little stands out.
A few good riffs here and there, and the style doesn't wear thin until the second track.
Existence - Dark Suns
Distinctive and impressive modern prog.
Lacks excitement as the album plods on.
Expanding Senses - Darkane
Interesting take on the thrash/death mix.
Style becomes repetitive.
Exposures: In Retrospect And In Denial - Dark Tranquillity
Excellent live performance, great chance to hear rare songs.
B-side material is mostly (and inevitably) forgettable.
Fairytales And Reality - Dionysus
Getting there.
Still in the shadow of other bands.
Feind Hort Mit - Stahlhammer
Some great songs
Requires a certain mood
Fiction - Dark Tranquillity
Good stuff
None
Embrace Of Memory - Darkestrah
Some catchy, traditional black metal.
Later songs sound too similar, and less interesting.
