This right here has been certified. (Jazzmatazz Vol.3: Streetsoul - Guru)
Member Name: prodigyseven
Advantages: you won't regret buying it, you'll listen to it forever, think of any advantage of buying a CD and it would probably fit here. Disadvantages: there are none, there are none, there are none
I personally believe that Guru's Jazzmatazz was the most slept on album of the year. Unlike a lot of other artist you can just let the CD play. You can put this in your car and not almost have an accident trying to skip through all of the songs you don't like. The first single that he did with Angie Stone was hot. It was right on time with a perfect video. Another duet that didn't get any radio play was a song called "She Gets Plenty" that Guru did with Ms. Erykah Badu. This song has a perfect blend of 2000 hip-hop groove and and 40's jazz funk. Ms. Badu sings so that her voice becomes one of the instruments and it makes a perfect blend with the music. My favorit song on the CD is "Certified." It has a nice up beat tempo and Guru lays it down like only he can. This entire album is certified platnum maybe not in sales, but for just being good music.
