Advantages: Mr Writer, Many good tracks

Disadvantages: Lacks inspiration, Some poor tracks

Having bought their last album, I decided to have a look at JEEP. I loved the single 'Mr Writer', but I didn't know quite what to expect.

The album is very similar to their previous album, Performance and Cocktails, which was a very good album.

However, this lack of variation also goes against them. There are some very good tracks on the album, but equally, there are many that are not really memorable.

'Mr Writer' has to be my favourite track, the vocals are great and the melody stays in your head for days. There are also a few other tracks which are almost as good (although I'm afraid names escape me!).

Overall, there is a lot of good stuff on the album, but one cannot help feel that they were lacking inspiration.

(finally, I love the fact they couldn't call it JEEP because of the possible legal action from JEEP (cars!). 'Just Enough Education to Perform', has to be the longest album title ever...)
