Rating:

"Life In 1472" came out in 1998 and was the first proper album from the producer and part-time rapper Jermaine Dupri . This album finds, as with all of his album, JD producing for a host of his affiliates on the So So Def label in addition to many guests who just wish to show support for the Atlanta hit-maker as long-term partnerships with the likes of Mariah Carey, Usher and Da Brat come through on this late nineties Rap and R&B record. 1. "Turn It Out" (Intro) 2. "Money Ain t A Thang" (feat. Jay-Z) This was probably the biggest single off the album and it finds JD working with the biggest stars for it as along with Jay-Z you have the ...

Instructions: Parental Advisory - Jermaine Dupri

Premium Review Follow Closely... (1131 words)

Rating:

"Instructions" came as the second album from the prodcuter, and rapper Jermaine Dupri . The So So Def founder returns in 2001 with this release to show off the tlanet of his label, as well of the locals in Atlanta (which hadn t got too much attention up to this point). He gets the aid of many artists, and does the majortiy of the beats for the thing. 1. "LP Intro" 2. "Welcome to Atlanta" (feat. Ludacris) This one went on to produce a couple of remixes (which had accompanying videos), and at this time, it was rather rare to get, so you know that this has to be an absolute banger of a track. It is just that as you get one of the most ...

More products in Music Album

The Red In The Sky Is Ours - At The Gates
Classic experimental death metal album, and At the Gates' best. Some progressive touches aren't as well incorporated as they would like to be.

The Metal Opera - Tobias Sammet's Avantasia
Classic power metal inspired by an epic theme. Nothing too out of the ordinary or particularly grandiose in this first part.

The Album - Ultrabeat
pretty green eyes none really

Sci-fi Lullabies - Suede
The first disc is amazing A bit more hit and miss on disc 2

Raising Fear - Armored Saint
Perfection of the band's style, with great guitars and vocals and some timeless classics. Songs tend towards over-repetition, and end of the album is less noticeable.

Piece Of Time - Atheist
Innovative, jazzy 80s death metal. Rather short.

Of The Son And The Father - Astral Doors
Keeping classic metal alive, with a variety of song styles. Can't escape seeming like a second-rate copy.

Deceptive Awareness - Ablaze In Hatred
Some great modern doom on the even-numbered songs. Some incredibly average modern doom in-between.

Aspera Hiems Symfonia - Arcturus
The continuing evolution of (melodic/symphonic/progressive/whatever) black metal. Deviates from the band's roots and tends to lose the atmosphere.

Abomination - Abomination
Fine early death metal. Repetitive and derivative.
