The score is beautiful and you will be able to listen to it over and over for decades If you really want to appreciate this soundtrack then you should listen to the 1st 2 OST's 1st.

A brilliant sci-fi score classic that retains its freshness after all these years Over-play of main title music lessens impact today

A windswept sci-fi score of great power and swashbuckling energy Less than stellar sound quality

A fitting continuation to the music established in Trek II with a more thoughtful air Cheap sound quality and overall lack of energy fails to retain momentum throughout

Wonderful, moving ballads, A few decent mid-tempos Horrid guest-rapper overkillDon't Stop never should have started.

Atmospheric and memorable, Soundtrack heavily foregrounded in the film, Varied and interestingly foregrounded compositions Somewhat repetitiveNothing new for those who own the filmDifficult to find
