Crematory's second album aligns itself more with the death-doom metal sub-genre, and although this robs it of any potential originality, it at least avoids the meandering confusion of their previous release. With extended keyboard passages and prominent lead guitars crafting a slow series of elegies, this should be enjoyed by fans of modern doom metal as long as their expectations aren't set too high.
