K - Kula Shaker

how to describe Kula Shaker? completely individual whilst jumping onto the eastern culture vibe that permeated the mid 90s britpop scene. That doesn't mean this is a bad thing though. The album should be listened to in its entirety because otherwise it could be seen as a bit of a novelty collection. the first track - Hey Dude - starts off on a low note. Kula Shaker are at their best when not covering or copying some soft rock tune. When conversations these days turn to the shuddering phenomenon known as Britpop, which reared it's ugly head in the mid-1990s, most people tend to stick to the established routes of conversation.
