If you trace the roots of this group, you will find yourself back in the early seventies, somewhere in hot Miami. KC And The Sunshine Band managed to successfully combine pop, soul, funk and r and b vibes, scoring success first in discos then in the mainstream charts. Most people will recognise one or two of their songs and this sixteen track album is a good place to hear the highlights. 'That's The Way I Like It ' might have been sampled a million times, but in the original form you will be treated to an earthy bass hook, soulful vocals and some sprightly backing vocals.
