I bought this CD for the Mrs for Christmas. I was getting bored of always having the same CDs on in the car whenever we went anywhere and thought it was time for a change. When I saw this album it looked like it had a good variety on it which would suit us both. You get 3 CD's in total with about 25 tracks per CD so plenty of tunes for us to work our way through.

Within the 3 CDs are a lot of different tunes, the majority are from over the last few years although there are some older tracks such as The Sound of Silence and Unbreak My Heart.

Here is a list of some of the tracks included (obviously not all of them)
      Unbreak my Heart- Toni Braxton
      Sail Away- David Gray
      Here with me - Dido
      Grenade- Bruno Mars
      Skinny Love - Birdy
Love All The Hurt Away - Aretha Franklin & George Benson
Goodbye My Lover - James Blunt

As you can just see by those few examples above you get a good mix of old and new although all tracks we have heard of so it's not like when you get a compilation album and you haven't heard of half of them once you get past the first few! The main thing about all of these tracks is that they are powerful songs. Some are upbeat and some are slow but they all have power behind them.

When driving I like to have this CD on as I think the variety is good, it's not like when The Mrs makes a compilation CD and it's mainly just pop songs it instead is a better mix and it's so refreshing to have a CD on which isn't repetitive.

We don't just play this in the car, it's good background music to have on too when we have people round or just when making the dinner and it's nice to see The Mrs singing along happily. The CD is meant to be 'cosy' and I think that's a good title for it- Keep Calm and Stay Cosy as it is the kind of music you'd put on in the background whilst you're at home 'keeping cosy'.

The Mrs is pleased with this CD as am I. I did buy it for her but also for myself too really to relieve me from her usual tracks whilst together in the car! I think it will suit a wide range of people as it's not just modern tracks.

This is a good CD choice to buy as a gift to someone with plenty of tracks on it so there is something for everyone. I can see this being popular with families so that everyone has a god choice on it. I bought it from Amazon, a quick look at the site shows me that it's currently on sale there for £10.34 I think that that is a good price to pay for so many tracks of music.
