A third album by Will Young managed to do just as well as his previous successes although at the beginning did struggle after a risky choice of lead single in a non-ballad in the form of Switch it On. This album was critically acclaimed by Young, appeared in the chart for just over a year and has to date sold just under one million copies. Amazing! Keep On is as brilliant album opener you could possibly imagine, it tricks you into thinking it's a slow midtempo number before it launches in to a fast paced musical number with beats- a brilliant show stunner!Switch it On, was a risky choice of lead single, it's different and catchy but has the potential to be ... Having been a supporter of Will Young for seven years, this album was meant to click with me straight away, except it didnt - not right away anyway. It's only now that i realise the brilliance of this record and why it was so great. It has now sold 950,000 and it will eventually sell 1,000,000 copies. I think personally Will Young is bar far none the best male soloist in the UK. I think James Morrison is doing a good job in keeping Young in check, but in terms of consistency, album songs, live performances and diversity and range i think Will Young is great at capturing the emotion and fun to songs - whether the Your Game bigness and showness to the excellent ... As a huge Will young fan, I have decided to be impartial in this review. Will is finally back with a long awaited 3rd album, and he certainly hasn't disappointed me, although there are a few weak links on the album, overall it is really strong. Wills first album From Now On went platinum within weeks of its release and Fridays Child his second Album is now 5 x Platinum. Both albums reached number one in the Album Charts This album reached number 2 in the charts before its release from pre-sale orders. The Pop Idol winner is now a fully-fledged Artist, and the critic's cant deny it. Nobody would have blamed Will for a half-hearted album. He has had a busy year, ... Read the complete review

We've had this album for quite a while now, but I've never really bothered to listen to it much. I put it on yesterday while we were pottering about, and found it to be easy to listen to, although nothing special. Will Young won Pop Idol, the precursor to X Factor on ITV. This seems an eternity ago now, and was indeed the best part of a decade ago. This album was released in 2005, around 4 years ago, and was instantly a hit. It starts off with his hit single, keep On, a fastish beat and a commercial number that is quite a good sound. The album then continues on a faster beat with the second track, Switch It On, before dropping to the first melodic ballad. It's ... Read the complete review

Cheap sound quality and overall lack of energy fails to retain momentum throughout

Fantastically dark Star Trek score unlike any other
