Advantages: A great collection of pop songs

Disadvantages: None

This is the greatest hits of Christina Aguilera, one of the best female artists to come out of America in recent years.

The album contains all of her most well known (and most popular) tracks and a couple of new songs, one being a remix of Genie In A Bottle. I think she wanted to bring the song up to date, to make it sound more modern. However I wasn't impressed by the remix as I much prefer the original version. The original version is on here and it's a fantastic pop song. It's sung beautifully by Christina and this was released when she was only in her late teens. The song does actually sound quite mature and her voice sounds older than her. A belter of a track. I also love Dirty and Fighter, two more fast paced pop songs sung with attitude and style.

There's also a few ballads on here such as Beautiful and Hurt. Beautiful is a very inspirational song as it gives out a very positive message. It tells you that you ARE beautiful no matter what people say and/ or think. Hurt is supposed to be about her dad and how he abused her and her mom when she was younger. The way Christina sings ballads is a way that gets you, the listener, involved in the song. You can really feel her pain and her emotion and her voice just captivates you. The whole album is a masterpiece and it really showcases her amazing talent and passion for music. Plus the earlier songs take you back to your younger days.

A great "best of" album.

Summary: A fantastic pop album with no fillers
