Advantages: Extreamly, loud, proud and out of control. NO LIFE TILL LEATHER.

Disadvantages: james hetfield sounds prebubecant in his singing.

HIT THE LIGHTS!!!!!!!!! here is the massive, raw debut that started metallica on their epic rise to metal gods! Featuring song that at the time were so blisteringly fast it was considered a joke by many who heared it, although now it may seem slightly slow and unheavy by todays standards, it is still an importand and influencial disk, and contains many songs still featured in metallicas playlist to this very day. It may not have been drastically origional, its raw power, epileptic lyrics and devilish shredding make it one of the best, and it truly embodies a lot of what metallica is (or was at th time) it even has, horror of horrors, an entire track consisting of a bass solo! gasp! A true must for any metal fan, the album cant be flawed on its production, sounding as loud, clear and fresh as even the most extencively produced album. If your heavily into metallica, learning guitar, or simply a metalhead trying to rebuild a record collection out of cds, this is for you, because it will take your breath away, and throw it into a raging ravine!

Summary: If you love metal, thrash, or just fast paced leather wearing guitar eruptions, you should get it!!!
