Advantages: good music, great playing
Disadvantages: none!
This album was Metallica?s first real album, it is very different from the Metallica we know now, much harsher and faster but still just as brilliant. For me this album is defiantly one of their best released to date. It has more a slayer style fast approach to the music and the lyrics and song names are much more that way also. If you are into Metallica and want to here something by them just a little bit different from the likes of 'load' and reload' then I would reacomend this album to you, the playing on the album is amazing, I wish i could play the guitar that well! The style is more tainted towards a thrash metal side, again simular to slayer, still very very good. The playing in this album also seems a lot more powerful and better than a lot of the other Metallica albums, which is another reason this album is just so good. The tracks of the album are as follows: Hit The Lights The Four Horsemen Motorbreath Jump In The Fire Anesthesia (Pulling Teeth) Whiplash Phantom Lord No Remorse Seek & Destroy Metal Militia This is a definite great Metallica album for you to add to your collection; it is an original album different from most, if not all of the Metallica albums a great piece of work! Well-done Metallica!

- 09/01/02 surely if you want to know anything about the group then you read an opinion on Metallica not one of the specific album reviews. |

- 09/01/02 I rated down because there was a lack of depth to the opinion. I would have liked to see some description of the individual tracks and maybe a little more about the group. If you expand the op. Let me know and I'll re-read it.
