Metallica - Kill 'em All (Kill 'em All - Metallica)

Advantages: Great metal Album Disadvantages: Hetfield's voice is a little high pitched
A fine debut from these four young Californian thrashers. Probably the bands least accessable album but a metalhead's dream. This was thrash metal as it had never been heard before. Very fast riffs combined with Kirk Hammett's manic solos make this album a treat for anyone looking for something hard, heavy and at lightning speed. The bass solo "Anesthesia" also shows that in bassist Cliff Burton, the band had a hidden gem. Songs such as "Whiplash", "Motorbreath", "Hit the Lights" and "Metal Militia" are guarunteed to leave the listener breathless. If albums were cars this would be an F1 McClaren. Summary: |
