happens. These tunes would stay in your head for days but you can t do that with the likes of Can t Get Along Without You and The King. Regrettably Once Upon A Time In The West is the sort of album where you would play a few tracks, get bored and end up going back to their first album. Once Upon A Time In The West is H Hard-Fi s Empire (Kasabian s almost as disappointing second album). Hard-Fi s next album is going to be so crucial. It will make or break ...

Some of their music certainly has similarities to the Clash and the Jam. With some softer songs (move on now) combined with the harder and more upbeat sounds (middle eastern holiday) the album has things for everybody and anybody. 1.Cash Machine (9/10) Great way to start the album, upbeat sounds that make you want to tap your feet and sing along. Good lyrics describing how the lead singer thinks that everybody is just working to pay the government taxes.(lyric - im working for a cash machine) This is a kind of ...

subtle) meaning and imagery behind them, masterfully created by the songwriter Richard Archer. Influence behind the album are definetly The Streets, and possibly Kasabian, but even at this stage H Hard-Fi are producing more better tracks. There is also a bit of Razorlight in here- with the grungey indie rock sounds. 1. Cash Machine A foot-tapping dance tune, with a theme of everything going wrong at the worst possible time, and the singer bemoaning his unlucky life. He s in the red and can t get money from the cash machine (hence the title), his girlfriend s just turned blue (pregnancy test), and when he jumps on the bus to travel a minimal distance, is unlucky enoguh ...
