'Killing Machine' is a real turning point in Judas Priest's career, departing from the heavy, dark, blues-influenced works of their earlier career and instantly jumping to something simpler, shorter and more accessible to the American market, an a commercial attitude that would unfortunately be the band's undoing in the following decade.
