GTA Vice City Sound Track - Wave 103GTA Soundtrack 2 - New Wave Music (397 words)
by Seven17 - written on 09/06/12, updated on 10/06/12 (Very useful, 38 readings)
Wave 103 is the second CD soundtrack In the famous GTA series, part of the Vice City radio stations. The soundtracks are supposed to be funny, and have some music incorperated from the game. This CD is no different and straight off the bat the presenter for Wave 103, Adam First speaks about how girls wear less make up than boys. The station is focused on "New Wave" music and has Two Tribes, Kids in America and Japanese Boy. The tracks are all pre 1985 as to fit with the year in which the GTA Game is set. The presenter just sounds like he is reading off a script, im sorry but its bad acting, im surprised R* used this guy. The station does have some pretty good imaging ...
GTA Vice City Soundtrack - WildstyleGTA Soundtrack 5 - Hilarious ads, great music (403 words)
by Seven17 - written on 11/06/12, updated on 11/06/12 (Very useful, 35 readings)
This CD is the fifth in the line up of GTA soundtrack CDs presented by Mr Magic. Wildstyle The station is supposed to be an underground pirate one but as Mr Magic says in the opening track, Wildstyle is going legit, and these are the tracks that are helping us do this. The tracks are a range of early hip hop and dance tracks and really sound great without the shortened radio edits. For example, herbie hancock lasts 5:22 and The message lasts just over 7 minutes. There are more half time tracks that the presenter speaks on, on the other soundtrack CDs there is one and then one at the end. I guess because there aren't as many songs they have to fill those gaps with the funny ...
GTA Vice City Soundtrack - V-RockGTA Vice City Adverts on a CD, and a bit of rock (424 words)
by Seven17 - written on 09/06/12, updated on 10/06/12 (Very useful, 13 readings)
This is the first GTA soundtrack CD, and it opens with a rather sarcastic intro from the V-Rock DJ, Lazlow who actually turns out to be a washed up celebrity in the later GTA Games. The soundtrack CD does not include absolutely everything on the V-Rock station but because everything here is based entirely on the 80's and before (thats when vice city was set) it sounds quite outdated and old fashioned already, even though i bought this CD way back in 2002. 10 years on though it still reminds me of all those odd jobs i did as Tommy Vercetti. So you're obviously buying this because you're a fan of GTA Vice city or the V-Rock station, and if its the humour you enjoyed then this is ...

The first disc is amazing
A bit more hit and miss on disc 2

Powerful, good ol' fashioned metal. With a woman.
|Coming On Strong - Hot Chip - Dance & Electronic - Electronica - 2004||Second Nature - Katherine Jenkins - Classical - 2004||Late For The Sky - Jackson Browne|
Really works as a whole album, Browne was hitting his stride.
Could do with a digital spruce up and a dip into the vaults for extra material.
|Ghetto Love - Jaheim|
Great vocals, interesting setting
|Beyond Fear - Beyond Fear|
"Ripper" Owens back doing what he does best. In fact, the only thing he can do.
No attempt at originality.

Mix of catchy pop and slightly more experimental songs.
Neither style works especially well.
|Take Care - Drake|
