I was so uncertain as to which Michael Jackson album to review, and Im not even sure if I've already reviewed one in the past. One thing is for sure thoug, which is that Michael Jackson is the King of Pop. For me this album is his ultimate greatest hits album. With 3 CD's you cant go wrong and you know that all his legendary tracks are going to be there. OK there may be the odd personal favourite missing, but with this guys music it was always going to be impossible to make the ultimate album that will please everyone. CD1 is the more commercial stuff he released and contain some of my favourite tracks of all time and what made this guy so great. Is there ... Read the complete review

Released by Sony in 2008, the double C.D. 'Michael Jackson King of Pop' is quite possibly a great collectors item. As the track listing was determined by fans in the individual countries, you have a bit of variety is deciding what Michael Jackson's hits really are - although you can also be sure that the staples such as 'Billie Jean', 'Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough', 'Smooth Criminal' etc. are bound to feature on each one. The C.D. should appeal to those consumers who aren't avid Michael Jackson fans but are instead are looking for an all-encompassing compilation C.D. and this album generally fits the bill. The main downpoint is that the hits are selected from Jackson's ... Read the complete review

Michael Jackson is a world known name and I can quite see why. This CD has been bought out for his 50th Birthday and has 17 of his best songs on. Michael Jackson. Is he really the King of Pop as the album has been called. Well he has sold nearly a billion CD and records and has won over 13 Grammy awards and he has even be inducted into the Rock and Roll hall of Fame twice, so yes I would have to say he is verging on the brink of being the King of Pop. He started his Career when he was just 8 years old and he is still going strong today and there is rumours of a tour from him next year. The CD The Cover of the CD is red and ... This CD which was bought out last year to celebrate Jackson's 50th birthday is well worth owning, as it includes many of his biggest and best hits encapsulating so much that is great about the King of Pop. If you were to only own one Jackson CD this would certainly be a good choice as the album encompasses classic dance hits such as beat it and smooth criminal and beat it alongside Jackson's more mellow songs such as man in the mirror. The album also spans many years of his career from Billie Jean to the Earth song, which to this day remains his biggest selling single in the UK. Rather disappontingly however the album does not include any hits from Jacksons group career. ... Read the complete review

After Michael Jackson's sudden death a few weeks ago I have been looking for an album with all Michael Jackson's greatest hits on it. I first looked at this, Michael's Number Ones album but then looked at the King of Pop combilation. The album of course features most of Michael's big hit solo singles, including Don't Stop Till You Get Enough, Rock With You, Billie Jean, Thriller, Beat It, Bad, The Way You Make Me Feel, Wanna Be Startin' Somethin', Smooth Criminal, Black Or White, Man In The Mirror etc. However near the end of the album there seem to be some odd choices and you notice a few absent tracks. The main noticeable absence seems to be Dirty Diana, ... Read the complete review
