Advantages: Many brilliant songs showing all sides of Jackson, Lots of songs-17.

Disadvantages: No performances from group career, clear sony money making scheme

This CD which was bought out last year to celebrate Jackson's 50th birthday is well worth owning, as it includes many of his biggest and best hits encapsulating so much that is great about the King of Pop. If you were to only own one Jackson CD this would certainly be a good choice as the album encompasses classic dance hits such as beat it and smooth criminal and beat it alongside Jackson's more mellow songs such as man in the mirror. The album also spans many years of his career from Billie Jean to the Earth song, which to this day remains his biggest selling single in the UK. Rather disappontingly however the album does not include any hits from Jacksons group career. My favourite thing about this album is that the songs on the Uk release were chosen by Michael Jackson fans in the UK by means of a poll. The album is clearly a money making scheme by Song and the album cover and sleeve are not particularly impressive, many people could be maybe justified in feeling annoying at yet another greatest hits album and wish for a new album after all these years, however, the quality of the music is undeniable and this CD is definitly worth buying.

Summary: Classic Jackson, worth buying due to quality of music all else aside
