      Very helpful

      a great millencolin album

Kingwood was millencolins sixth album as a band and was released in 2005. It features a up to date millencolin however I also preferred this album to their 2002 album home from home which I felt was not the millencolin I was used to. This album is a return to their old style whist still appealing to a modern audience as well, it's a fine effort and a fine album came out of it too.

The first song farewell my hell gets the album off to a good start, its got a punchy guitar part and the drums are also top notch throughout as well. Something that I critised on their 2002 album was that the singing was compromised by the instruments however its good to see on this song the singing leading the songs again, and I think it really makes better songs too, I really liked this one.

Cash or clash is track number three off the album and it's another fine one. it's a really fast paced one with the lyrics being incredible as well. I feel this one is perhaps not the best vocal performance however it's a very catchy song none the less and I really enjoy listening to this song.

However the best song off the album for me must be track number seven, Ray. it's a very catchy song, perhaps one of their more modern pieces too which I never thought id like, however they've kept their old style whilst developing as a band as well and I think that's why this album and their songs work so well. This song is just far too catchy for words, and the instruments are great as well, definitely a winner.

Given their poor 2002 album many had written this band off im sure, and I too was sceptical, I however knew they still were a great band and that they still had it in them somewhere to make a great album, and they certainly did, they came back with this incredible album and gave their fans something decent to listen to.
