Steel of Swabia is a refreshing album made by German metal band Kissin' Dynamite, relative newcomers and far from well known, they are signed to EMI and this is their debut album. They blend together power metal vocals with catchy hard rock riffs but throw in the occasional blast beat to create a traditional heavy metal sound. Initially I thought that with the band being Germans they'd follow in suit to so many German bands by producing tediously cheesy lyrics when sung in English but they've done an excellent job of making trash decent!
