... excellent job of making trash decent! This stuff is on par with early Guns n Roses and should be far more well known. Let's Get Freaky is an unbelievably catchy track that should be bursting out of rock clubs around Europe, tracks like Ready Steady Thunder are pretty poppy whilst Only the Good Die Young take a symphonic metal sound. The track Heartattack takes on a slight AC/DC sound whilst their cover of Welcome to the Jungle is excellent too. Steel of Swabia is a refreshing album made by German metal band Kissin' Dynamite, relative newcomers and far from well known, they are signed to EMI and this is their debut album. They blend together power metal vocals with catchy hard rock riffs but throw in the occasional blast beat to create a traditional heavy metal sound. Initially I thought that with the band being Germans they'd follow in suit to so many German bands by producing tediously cheesy lyrics when sung in English but they've done an excellent job of making trash decent!
