Having seen this album advertised on tv adverts, then walking into my local Virgin store to check out the featured Artists , I was pleasantly surprised. How rare it is to find a compilation album with so many good tunes! I immediately had to buy it, despite my good intentions of keeping all my summer earnings for uni term-time. And was I disappointed with my spenditure?..certainly not! This album hosts a delightful mix of old and new. From the likes of Thin Lizzy (The Boys Are Back In Town), to Lightning Seeds (The Life Of Riley), to Madness (My Girl), this album is simply a collection of pure classics. The whole score is quintessential Zimmer, and is filled with the usual array of synthesisers, electronic effects, drum pads, and male voice choirs. However, the thing which elevates this ...

Many people will have had mixed opinions about the film anyway, so those that didn’t like it I doubt will be rushing out to buy this soundtrack anyway. If you’re not into rock than this album is definitely not for you. Because the film was completely action packed and when you have people blowing up and motorbikes flying everywhere then they tend to use rock music. I am a great lover of the kind of rock they used in this film. I call these kinds of tracks environment produces, where you sit back and imagine yourself doing some amazing stunt, or in the middle of some martial arts mayhem. ‘Limp bizkit’, ‘take a look around’ was fantastic ...
