This was the girls' third album and was released in 2003. In terms of hits, it spawned title track Ladies' Night, Be With You, If You Come To Me and Someone Like Me (the latter was released as a double A-side single with Right Now, which featured on a previous album). ***Ladies Night*** The title track is an upbeat cover version. It is a pretty poor cover in comparison to the original as it seems to be lacking in something and is quite cheesy. However, it works well enough as a generic party type track. ***Be With You*** The vocals on this track are quite breathy, but the chorus is quite catchy and very dance-orientated. The backing ... I have the previous two albums ? always good for the pre -night out cheese fest, but was pretty disappointed with this offering from the kittens. It starts off with a terrible cover, drones on for about 14 songs and then finishes with one of the most depressingly dull ballads ever. "Ladies Night" is awful. I?m sorry but there?s no other word for it. I quite liked "Eternal Flame", I forgave them "The Tide is High" and I even let them off "Kids in America", but now it?s time to stop. I told my wife today that I was struggling to find a CD to review on here. Off she went with a mischevious glint in her eye and returned from my 4 year old's bedroom with the latest release from the annoying trio known to the masses as 'Atomic Kitten'. I was not keen, but as I profess to try anything once (within reason), I thought I would have a few listens purely for the purpose of writing this review. Atomic Kitten are Jenny, Natasha and Liz, but this has not always been the line up.
