Las Vegas Grind Part 1 is a cool compilation of songs which were common either live or recorded in the Las Vegas strip joints between 1956 and 1965, it's part of a 4 volume series, I've only checked out the first 2 parts so far. This is an interesting journey through a mixture of doo wop and garage, often poorly recording but surprisingly fresh, the majority of these tracks were deemed far too naughty for commercial release so the scratchy sounds of the 45's give off a poor overall recording and it seems like this compilation has done nothing to try and clean them up.
