Disadvantages: where do I start

Good heavens above, the Crzy Frog brings back ghastly memories of ringtones and having him interrupt music programmes on televsion every few minutes.

Who is he: A computer generated character with one of the most inane voices in the world, who started life as a phone ringtone before launching a music career.

This release:

Is a cover of Wham's 'Last Christmas', a record which did not need covering! The Frog does his usual 'ring a dinging' over it, while some more pleasant female vocals provide the sunh hooks to the song. The production is somewhat tinny, the synths sound cheap and it really takes novelty records to new heights of awfulness.

Buy it if you liked 'Axel F' by the Crazy Frog as it is much in that vein, it is probably useful for kid's parties, though I fear the Crazy Frog might already have gone out of fashion.

Verdict: A lame single, not worth buying on CD. If you want another version of 'Last Christmas' go for the Cascada version which is actually quite good
