The Last Temptation is a concept album revolving around an old character (Steven) from Cooper's albums of the past Welcome to My Nightmare, Goes to Hell and at the end of Hey Stoopid, the album prior to this. This is one of Alice best Solo works. Last Temptation is a theme album based around the story of faust. It even spawned 3 DC Marvel comic books portraying the story of Stephen and the evil Ringmaster. Stephen is tempted by the Ringmasters offer but does he know the high price he will pay in the end ? A brilliant epic but due to label and marketing problems this album was never given the airplay it deserved. Also Sony shot themsleves in the foot by not sponsoring any tour with Alice for this record which visually and conpetually could have been one of the greatest events in rock history. 1.
