The latest edition to the popular Download series (Roadrunner Records label samplers) comes in the form of a 15 track CD, as well as containing the video of Fear Factory's Linchpin. As ever, it's quite a mix, with big bands Fear Factory, Slipknot, Machine Head, Sepultura and Soulfly contributing tracks alongside newcomers 36 Crazyfists, Ill Nino, Chimaira and Nickelback. The album kicks off with up and comers Dry Kill Logic serving up Nightmare, a top notch metal track with a catchy chorus to die for. I got sick of it, but after not hearing it for a while, I forgot how good a tune it was. Then there are lesser known Artists Len and Bran Van 3000, whose names might not ring any bells, but the songs "Steal My Sunshine" and "Drinking in LA" will be familiar. Now we move onto a real driving song. "My Favourite Game" by The Cardigans. This song makes me sing along, and the music takes over. If the truth be known, I get the urge to drive fast!
