Lazer Guided Melodies - Spiritualized

You can imagine my alarm at seeing the track count on the player reading four. Oh no I thought, on the inlay card of Lazer Guided Melodies there is 12 tunes clearly marked out. It was surely a duff CD. This was 1992 when the brand new music format (which had the temerity to replace glorious vinyl) could not be wholly trusted and anything odd often resulted in minor panic attacks. Thankfully I learned that Spirtualized were only playing games (remember this is the band whose last album was packaged like a box of tablets!).
