Who are Something Corporate? An OC, California indie/rock band formed in 1998, frontmanned by the extremely talented Andrew McMahon, who has worked with Elliot Minor and The Academy Is... . How I heard about them= I was given a mixtape with one of their tracks on it and it moved me a great deal, I began to find out about this band I had never before heard of, and was lucky enough to see them in.....hmmm must have been 2003 or 2004 at Birmingham Academy and they blew me away. Something Corporate are an indie rock/ soft rock band. As a fan of rock music, this is chilled and relaxing, easy going music. It makes good background music to study to or listen to with friends. The band are headlined by Andrew McMahon, who is also the lead singer in Jacks Mannequin, a side project of his. If you are a fan of them, or bands such as sugarcult and panic at the disco then you will love this album. This album, something through the window, was their first release, and featured their first released song 'Punk Rock Princess'. Some other track highlights include 'If you C Jordan' and 'Drunk Girl'.
