Earth A.d./die Die My Darling - Misfits

Rating:
approach won over as many fans as it lost. What the album lacks in catchy Ramones like punk, it makes up for with invention. This album is the link between Misfits and Danzig s 2nd band Samhain, fortunately for me I m a big fan of Samhain. Gone is the bubblegum sound and talk of aliens and B-movies as the band plough onwards with a rough, dark and to some extent brutal sound. The imagery conjured up by the lyrics is no longer ghost stories in the playground, it s full on gore! Original guitarist Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein, possibly not his real name (everyone knows it's spelt ...

This is a terrible album. Full stop. Let me give you a little history on why this album sounds so crap. The Misfits are the greatest band on earth. They had an incredibly talented singer named Glenn Danzig who went on to bigger and better stuff after he had had enough in 1983. Then the bassist Jerry and his brother Doyle (guitar) formed the misfits again back in 95 after a big courtcase against Glenn Danzig and Caroline records. Basically Glenn wrote all the old misfits stuff including everything for all the instruments. Hell, he would have played them all himself if he had enough arms! Here is a good list of why this album sucks! - The new singer is okay but ...
