Introduction When looking on the dooyoo database for this album I was quite surprised when I could not find it as this is one of the most well know Lynyrd Skynyrd albums. I promptly requested this and it was up today so here s the review. Before a plane crash a few years later wiped out several of the band the original Lynyrd Skynyrd line-up consisted of Ronnie Van Zant, Gary Rossington, Allen Collins, Leon Wilkeson, Billy Powell and Bob Burns. although Wilkeson was replaced before the release with Ed King which Is why there are seven musicians on the album cover instead of six. pronounced leh- nérd skin- nérd This is the debut album from the band and was originally ...

the music and vocals are right! The production good and all in all, well it s just a great album! I was fortunate enough to see one of their concerts before the fateful plane crash that took Ronnie from us, I will always remember that night. If you have even passing interest in southern rock, seventies music, Lynyrd Skynyrd , guitar music or just good rock music then you need to get this album! There is also a remastered anniversary version with added tracks from the 3 concert set at the Fox theatre in Atlanta ...
