Advantages: RnB, Soul, Slow RnB, few upbeat club tracks
Disadvantages: None whatsoever!
I've been listening to this album again this evening, it is one of those my colleague at work and fellow RnB fan shared with me and I absolutely love it!
I recall first coming across Lloyd (or listened to, even..) when he did that duet with Ashanti (Southside) and other popular tracks include 'You' and 'Hey Young girl'
The name got me a bit confused initially with another Lloyd but this is the softer more RnB Lloyd - Lloyd Polite:)
He's got a smooth voice and great vocals and seems to do slow tracks really well.
This is Lloyds third album and it is as good if not better than the last two. The more popular and upbeat tracks off this album include 'Girls around the world' which is also a collaboration with Lil wayne and 'How we do It' which features Ludacris and of course 'sex education' which has some serious lyrics...
My fave tracks off this album are 'Year of the Lover', 'Lose your Love' 'Have My Baby' and 'Party all over your body' which is quite a hott track! Actually, most of the tracks and lyrics on this album are hott and would be ideal and perfect for a nice romantic evening...or to chill out and relax to with tracks like the above, and 'love making 101', it is a romantic yet sweet album when you listen to his high notes and almost high pitched voice and unique music style.
He also wrote and produced this album so it showcases his writing and producing talents as the lyrics are fantastic as well as his great voice and vocals once again.
With 14 tracks, it is a great album with each track keeping you tuned into the lyrics and sound.. I am a big softy for slow RnB tracks so this album is right up my street!
RnB fans and fans of slow music will enjoy it thoroughly and other fans will definitely ask 'Who's that?' - you say 'Lloyd Polite!' :-D
