Advantages: Brilliant tracks

Disadvantages: Tracks seem to be abit same-ish to some

Avril seems to be the newest and most hip hoppest newcomer in music. Her first album, being this ''Let Go'' was a huge seller. Lavigne sings with passion and flows on with meaningful and deepful lyrics with songs with meaning. This album, is really distinctive in the fact that there is a fine selection of nice rock tracks in here again mixed with the occasional number of pop numbers. The songs all seem very well written, and the album certainley seems very mature. This is a fine album filled with outstanding rock tracks with just the right amount of pop mixed in with them.

''Losing Grip'' is a very loud pop track but is rock too. Very fast and in a sense relatively upbeat, this is a good song. A very loud chorus and well sang.

''Complicated'' is in some way a pop track but with abit of rock in there too. A outstanding but mellow and gentle chorus seems perfect for the genre of music, and the style of this song.

''Skater Boi'' is an excellent track. Very rocky, and with a very fast and nicely catchy beat, this is quite good in some terms. This seems well written, and is well sang.

''I'm With You'' is a very gentle and nice pop ballad. Vocals are very gentle and mellow as is the music. The song is very good, it is well written. A nice and catchy chorus yet again, but is very slow - this is a very good song.

''Mobile'' is quite a good rock track. Avril shows her voice in this song, it is well written with a very nice chorus, this is good listening.

''Unwanted'' is more pop than, rock - it is is nice sounding and is defintley well written. A good chorus and Avril sings well. Production on this song is quite good too.

''Tommorrow'' is a very good rock track. Avril sings very well and shows her voice. The chorus is nice, it is well written and good listening.

''Anything But Ordinary'' is a very good rock track. Very good listening, a nice and loud beat and a musically slow backing track makes this a perfect rock track. The song is instantly catchy, and stands out. Very good and meaningful.

''Thing's I'll Never Say'' is a slow and nice balladish track. The chorus and verses are very good musically, and are well written. Again this shows how much of a rock, pop, ballad and hip hop voice Avril has. Nice song.

''My World'' is a great track. A very fast and upbeat chorus, verses, backing track and musical backing to this song make this very listenable. The song is fast as is the singing. This will make you dance and sway side by side. This is a very good song, after a few listens you may even sing along to this. Nicely written as well.

''Nobody's Fool'' again is another nice track. It is well written with deepful and meaningful lyrics, Avril sings with passion and a very good rock voice, makes this song excellent.

''Too Much To Ask'' is a nice track. The song is generally where rock and abit of pop as well. This seems well produced, and well sang.

''Naked'' is a very slow and upbeat rock track. The lyrics are good, as the chorus and verses are catchy and seem good. The song is well written, and well produced. Avril sings well as well.

This is an excellent debut album from Avril Lavigne. The album seems well written on many accounts, the songs are catchy and likeable, Avril sings well and this seems very well produced.
