For this album, David Holmes spent a few months on the streets of New York, sampling what various of the dwellers there had to say. The result, when combined with Holmes' unique brand of funk and soul inspired eclectic electronica, creates a very interesting, almost filmic quality, and as a result, the songs become far more memorable.
