Stuart and John Treleaven as well as the London Symphony Orchestra and london symphony chorus for a synopsis look on the internet e.g wikipedia because i am shocking at writing them and would manage to make a fairy tale complicated. in response to why you should buy this as oppose to any other cd of candide, there is no reason why you should however there was no other version on dooyoo and this is the only recording i have heard although it was better live obviously. however the performance in this recording is perfectly competent and is therefore a good buy. but if you can find a recording with a different cast then be my guest and tell me if it is any ...
